Was a hot favourite going into the 2017 Grand National but was pulled-up. Has taken on quite a few graded chases since then and was 4th in the Becher Chase in December 2019. Second place in the Peter Marsh Chase and a win at Kelso boosted his Grand National 2021 claims. The Randox Health Grand National is the only race where the official handicapper specially frames the weights, often taking into account past Aintree form. The weights are announced at a launch in February and do not change afterwards as there are no penalties for success after that time. The 2019 Grand National was the 172nd annual running of the Grand National horse race at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool, England. The showpiece steeplechase is the pinnacle of a three-day festival which began on 4 April, followed by Ladies’ Day on 5 April. The event was sponsored by Randox Health as part of an agreement signed in 2016 for the company to sponsor the race for five years starting in 2017. The race was won by 4/1 favourite Tiger Roll, ridden by Davy Russell. Winner of the Kim Muir Chase at the 2019 Cheltenham Festival. A faller in the 2019 Irish National but was running well at the time. Will be another year older and stronger in 2021 and his yard have history in the race after winning the Grand National in 2000, while his owner – JP McManus – won the 2010 renewal. Shaded areas indicate the unofficial precursors of the Grand National (1836–38), the wartime substitutes at Gatwick Racecourse (1916–18), the cancelled period during World War II.External videoHighlights of the 1936 Grand National (British Pathé)
The 1936 Grand National was the 95th renewal of the world-famous Grand Nationalhorse race that took place at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool, England, on 27 March 1936.
Reynoldstown, a 10/1 shot owned and trained by Major Noel Furlong and ridden by amateur jockey Fulke Walwyn, won the race for the second year in a row after being left clear by Davy Jones running out at the last fence.
At the 17th fence, Avenger incurred a cervical fracture in a fall and had to be euthanised.Finishing order[edit]PositionNameJockeyAgeHandicap (st-lb)SPDistance1ReynoldstownFulke Walwyn10/112 Lengths2EgoHarry Llewellyn50/16 Lengths3Bachelor PrinceJack Fawcus66/14Crown PrinceRonald Strutt66/15InversibleS.McGrath40/16ProvocativeEric Brown33/17Castle IrwellGeorge Bostwick8/18Double CrossedDanny Morgan20/19Moorland ViewMr E.C.Paget66/110ComedianG.Turner100/1This list of sports fixtures or results is incomplete; you can help by expanding it.Non-finishers[edit]Position/FateNameJockeyAgeHandicap (st-lb)SPCastle ViewGeorge Owen100/1Fell (11th)Lazy BootsRoger Moseley25/1Oeil de BoeufMatthew Feakes100/1The Boy In BlueMr P.Vaux100/1Fell (11th)BrienzTim Hamey40/1Fell (8th)DelaneigeFrenchie Nicholson25/1Royal RansomHywell Jones33/1Blue PrinceBilly Parvin20/1ZagOtho Prior-Palmer100/1D’EyncourtPatrick Carey50/1Uncle BattThomas McNeill66/1Persian SunE.Vianll66/1HillsbrookW.O’Grady40/1Evasio MonMr T.Holland-Martin100/1Rod And GunMr L.Stoddard100/1Golden MillerEvan Williams5/1Fell (17th)AvengerFred Rimell100/30PencraikJohn Lynn Jnr100/1LyntonCharles Hook100/1BlazeKeith Piggott100/1BuckthornPerry Harding40/1KiltoiThomas F Carey66/1EmancipatorPeter Cazalet20/1Keen BladeTommy Elder100/7Ran Out (30th)Davy JonesAnthony Mildmay100/1

The 1921 Grand National was the 80th renewal of the world-famous Grand Nationalhorse race that took place at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool, England, on 18 March 1921.
The race was won by Shaun Spadah, a 100/9 bet ridden by Fred Rees and trained by George Poole for owner Malcolm McAlpine. The winner was the only horse to complete the course without falling.[1]
In second place was The Bore, who remounted after falling at the second-last fence, having raced alongside the winner since Turkey Buzzard fell at Becher’s Brook on the second circuit. All White and Turkey Buzzard were also remounted to finish third and fourth respectively. No other horses completed the race.[1] Thirty-five horses ran and all returned safely to the stables.Finishing Order[edit]PositionNameJockeyAgeHandicap (st-lb)SPDistance01Shaun SpadahDick Rees1011-7100/9A distance02The BoreHarry Brown1011-89/1 F03All WhiteBob Chadwick710-1333/104Turkey BuzzardTuppy Bennet812-2100/9Last to completeNon-finishers[edit]FenceNameJockeyAgeHandicap (st-lb)SPFate05Eamon BeagM Connors810-410/1Fell16Loch AllenJohn Kelly1011-0100/1Fell?ClonreeTom Hulme712-033/1?Old Tay BridgeErnest Piggott711-8100/8?General SaxhamWillie Smith811-466/1?GarryvoeIvor Anthony711-2100/9?GlencorrigHenry Bletsoe710-1350/1?DaydawnJack Anthony810-13100/7?Prince CliftonLewis Rees810-1366/1?White SurreyTony Escott910-1233/1?Rather DarkA Gregson710-1233/1?BobbydazzlerA Stubbs710-12100/1?Short KnockM Halpin1210-10100/1?HalstonMr Frith910-950/1?Hill Of CamasCapt J C Delmege1310-7100/1?WavebeamMr S C Lloyd1010-7100/1?Picture SaintN Hayes910-5100/1?BallysaxGeorge Goswell710-5100/1?Bonnie CharlieMr M C Blair1310-4100/1?BlazersWilliam Watkinson710-430/1?Rufus XXICaptain Doyle1010-0100/1?Cupid’s DartJames Hogan Jnr79-12100/1?Long LoughRobert Trudgill99-12100/1?White CockadeH Wicks89-10100/1?ForewarnedRoger Burford69-1050/1?GleneflyTommy Willmot79-7100/1?ProsperitzW Daly79-7100/1?CharlburyB Ellis139-7100/1?HackamG Clancy69-766/1?Redstart VMajor A W H James139-7100/1?Any TimeFrank Wootton1010-650/1
